SVS Lashes FAQ

What are SVS lashes?

SVS stands for Speed, Volume & Style.  SVS lashes are super light weight individual lashes which are sculpted into fan shapes, these are then placed on an individual natural lash.  These lashes are so fine that they do not feel heavy and can be used to create a natural or glamour look while still looking natural.

How long do the lashes last?

SVS lashes shed with your natural lashes.  If you were to get them as a one off, they would last up to 6 weeks.  If you would like to maintain your set of lashes regular infills are required.  It is recommended by Nouveau Lashes that after 3 months of infills that the set is removed after a few days.

What does a Glamour set look like?

A glamour set is a much fuller set of lashes that involves more lashes being attached for a more dramatic effect. In a Glamour set every lash that can be lashed will be lashed! The fans are bigger usually 5-8 lashes in a fan.

What does a Natural set look like?

A natural set is a like a more enhanced version of your own lashes, just a little bit longer and fuller than your own lashes are at the moment. A Natural set is every 2nd/3rd lash having a fan applied depending on your lash density.  The fans are made using 2-5 lashes.

A patch test for eyelash extensions is not mandatory, however Brindle Beauty recommends that you have a patch test at least 48 hours before if you have any allergies or have never had eyelash extensions before.

How do I look after my lash extensions?

  • Ensure you lashes don’t come into contact with water or moisture in the first 48 hours.
  • Avoid steam, sauna and swimming for the first 48 hours.
  • Do not use mascara or liquid eyeliner as this will affect the fans and glue.
  • Use only oil free make up remover –Nouveau Lashes oil free make up remover can be purchased from Brindle Beauty.
  • Be careful not to sleep face down.
  • Try not to touch the lashes as this will transfer oil and bacteria onto them.
  • Brush your lash extensions with the disposable mascara wand everyday to help the fans look their best.
  • The cleaner the lashes the longer they will last. Use the Nouveau Lashes Lash and Lid Foaming Cleanser 2/3 a week or daily if you wear make up.  This can be purchased from Brindle Beauty.

Who is not suitable for lash extensions?

Unfortunately lash extensions are not suitable for those who are pregnant, breastfeeding or under the age of 18.

The lifetime of the lashes is different on everybody and are always growing and shedding. It usually takes up to 6 weeks before the effect  grows out and the process can be repeated.
